MLS (Marketing Library Services) newsletter

Although this is a subscription-based newsletter, there is usually one or two free articles per issue available on their web site.

IFLA Management & Marketing Section

The Management and Marketing section of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) publishes a newsletter and provides an international perspective on library marketing topics and activities. The site offers marketing related papers/articles presented at past IFLA conferences. In Oct 2004 we learned this group is preparing a library marketing resource. As soon as it's ready, we'll announce it in Marketing Treasures.

Library Marketing Village

A virtual community for discussing library marketing issues created by Chris Olson. Although the community has quite a few members, it is relatively quiet. We have plans to rennovate the village and connect it to Marketing Treasures. In the meantime, you can download a couple of nice free library graphics and a recipe for Fortune Cookies.
